Rental accounting
In progress
An app for owners of buildings with tenants. It shows which units are let, who has paid, who is late and when leases run out.

How it will work
The demo data is fictional: the building, tenants and amounts are made up for the example.
The building is shown as an architectural model: the floors are pulled apart and each unit is coloured by payment status. Every unit carries a number and an icon, so the status is clear even without colour. Hover over a unit to see the tenant and floor area. Click a floor to look at it closer.
In the morning the owner opens the summary and reads five answers: how much floor space is let, how much money has come in, who hasn’t paid, what needs attention and what to expect today. Below that is the month’s money and the collection rate.
Every tenant has a payment discipline score. It is simple: how many of the last twelve payments arrived on time. Next to it is the year’s payment history and the lease terms.
The “Needs attention” feed collects late payments, debts, expiring leases and vacant units. A payment or a task is marked with one click. The summary and the building update on their own.
Good afternoon. Five answers for today:
October money
Needs attention
Payments due today
Tasks
Mark a payment as “Received” and the unit on the building model turns “Paid”.
What it does
Everything about the building in one app
- 01
Summary
Five answers in plain words, the month’s money and the collection rate. Who hasn’t paid, what’s on today, and the “Needs attention” feed.
- 02
Building in 3D
Floors pulled apart, like an architectural model. Units are coloured by status and labelled with a number and an icon. A tooltip on hover, a card on click.
- 03
Floor plan editor
Partitions, doors, splitting and merging units. The app calculates floor area itself. Unit numbers, leases and payments are kept when you edit the plan.
- 04
Tenants and payments
Payment status is worked out from the due date and what has come in: paid, expected, part paid, overdue, debt. Each tenant has a payment discipline score with its formula, a 12-month history, leases and documents.
- 05
Notes and tasks
Attached to the building, a floor, a unit or a tenant. A task has a due date and a priority. Tasks with a due date show up in the summary.
Who it’s for
Owners and managers of buildings with units let to several tenants: a business center, a retail or office building, a warehouse.
The app is designed for a laptop and a large monitor, works on a tablet and opens on a phone.
Status
In progress
Already working: the summary, the 3D building, the floor plan editor, tenants, payments, notes and tasks. Right now the owner works in the app. Access for a property manager and an accountant is the next step.
